Ксения Бессонова Профи (604), закрыт 15 лет назад
Bill: You are looking good today.
Ann: O, thanks, Bill. You are sweet.
Bill: OK. If you sit down I’ll get you a drink.
Ann: There’s nowhere to sit.
Bill: Yes, there is. Over there in the corner.
Ann: I don’t want to sit there. It’s too dark. I’ll sit here.
Bill: You can’t. These seats are taken.
Ann: No, they aren’t.
Bill: Really, Ann. Why do you always have to argue? They’re taken.
Ann: Excuse me. Are these seats taken?
Joe: Well, this one is, but the other one’s free.
Ann: OK. I’ll sit here, then. Thanks.
Joe: You’re welcome. What’s your name?
Bill: Hey, what about me?
Ann: Ann, What’s yours?
Joe: I am Joe Parsons. Can I have a drink?
Ann: That’s very kind. Can I have a bitter lemon?
Bill: I’m getting her a drink.
Joe: No, you’re not, mate. I am.
Bill: I don’t believe this. Ann, what are you playing at?
Ann: Really, Bill, I don’t know what’s wrong with you today. I’ll see you around, OK?

Bill told Ann that she was looking good that day.
Ann thanked Bill and added that he was sweet (= that it was nice of him to say so)
Bill said that if Ann sat down, he would get her a drink.
Ann answered that there was nowhere to sit.
Bill objected to her and said that there was a seat in the corner.
Ann answered that she didn't want to sit in the corner, because it was too dark. She added that she would sit there.
Bill said that she couldn't sit there, because those seats were taken.
Ann answered that they weren't taken.
Bill asked Ann why she always had to argue. He added that the seats were taken.
Ann asked Joe if those seats were taken.
Joe answered that the one seat was taken, but the other one was free.
Ann said that she would sit there and thanked Joe.
Joe asked Ann what her name was.
Bill wondered what he would do.
Ann introduced herself and asked what the man's name was.
The man answered that he was Joe Parsons. He wondered if he could have a drink.
Ann answered that it was very kind (of him) and added if she could have a bitter lemon.
Bill said that he was getting Ann a drink.
But Joe objected to this and said he was getting Ann a drink.
Bill didn't believe that. He asked Ann what she was playing at.
Ann said that she didn't know what wrong was with Bill that day. She said that she would see him around.

Enjoy!;-)

и т. д. и. т. п.
