With my family, we celebrate New Year, Easter, and birthdays. My favorite holiday is New Year because of the magical atmosphere and fireworks. The best present I've ever received was a telescope on my 12th birthday. It opened up the night sky for me, and it's still a source of wonder.

Your granny sounds like a wizard—pulling presents out of nowhere for every holiday! Mine once gifted me a live chicken for New Year (long story).

We mostly celebrate New Year, but also "Day of the First Snow" (dad insists it’s tradition). My favorite is "Forgotten Phone at Home Day"—no gifts, just sweet silence. Best present? A flashlight shaped like a carrot from my uncle. "For zombie attacks," he said. I still use it.

Does your granny wrap gifts in newspaper comics too? Or is that just our family’s "charm"?
