кто знает англ...)
Language of any country is a part of its culture. When we speak about English language, we do not look at the most important distinctions between different variants of this language. Till now dispute on is conducted, whether are the British and American English one language or different. In some measure last point of view is fair because of distinctions between the countries, people and cultures. On the other hand, the person who speaks in this language, easily will understand in the different countries.

Occurrence of the American variant of English language is a result of long process which proceeded in parallel and irrespective of development of the people who have located on a new place to conduct a new way of life. They have not entered new names for known concepts, but very often used old words in new value or borrowed new words from the native languages and consequently for today the same words to Great Britain and the USA can have different коннотации and values even if they designate the same phenomena. Oscar Uajld wrote: «Englishmen have much in common with Americans, except the language.» Actually, the basic part of a language material (lexical and grammatical), used to Great Britain and the USA, has much in common that does not allow to treat them as different languages. The basic part of dictionary structure of these languages coincides. Actually, the period of their separate existence is not so long to generate absolutely independent two languages.

On the other hand, the described period is characterised by independent coexistence of two nations and two independent states for which the certain geographical position, various political systems, various way of an everyday life is characteristic. Not casually known politician U. Churchill has told: «We are two different nations divided by a common language» (We represent two different nations which are divided by uniform language). All listed reasons should affect development of this or that variant of language that has led to occurrence of some essential differences in a lexical and sound system of language, in the grammatical phenomena and a writing of some words.
