3.to get on someone's nerves - The kids' granny is rather strict with them, she doesn't like them to get on her nerves.
4.to drive someone crazy - She is always complaining of something or somebody: it drives me crazy.
5.to hold one's tongue - He knows much who knows how to hold his tongue.
6.to break the ice - He broke the ice starting our conversation.
