Правильный ли перевод с русского на английский? Какие ошибки?
1 Я не получил никакого удовольствия от обеда, так как суп был водянистый, заливная рыба безвкусная, а мясо пережаренное.
I didn`t derive any pleasure from a dinner because the soup was watery, the jellied fish was tasteless, and the meet was overdone.
2 К сожалению, в меню не было коктейля из креветок, а ведь это мое любимое блюдо.

Я думаю, можно и так: the plates have been set out, the bread has been sliced and the wine (has been) uncorked.
Where is the salt, pepper and mustard set? You've forgotten to bring it, as usual.

In order to make my favourite carrot salad I usually take three large carrots, grate them, finely chop a garlic clove, add (some, а лучше количество - e.g. a handful of) raisins, and mix everything along with the mayo dressing.
В первом предложении должно быть THE dinner
