(правило Conditionals.) (Во второй части предложения стоит will take - will V, поэтому в первой по правилу должен стоять глагол в Present Simple, так что пишем просто V) 
Типы Conditionals (я напишу основные): 
1) IF                    V,                    WILL V 
2) IF                V2 / Ved,            WOULD V 
3) IF                 HAD V3,           WOULD HAVE V3 
2. BECAME 
  (Тут по смыслу ставим глагол в простое прошедшее время. "Четыре года спустя оно СТАЛО называться Ледовым карнавалом и Собачьими дерби.") 
3. TAKING 
  (Тут первое на ум что приходит это "taking a part", т.к. часто употребляется) 
4. ACTIVITIES  
(Ставим во множественное число существительное. -Y меняется на -IES) 
5. WILL GIVE  
(Тоже по смыслу понимать. "Сегодня, БУДУЧИ скульптором, волонтером или гостем на Аляске, ВЫ ПОЛУЧИТЕ здоровый, семейный опыт отдыха на свежем воздухе.". Поэтому ставим в Future Simple)

Our family travels a lot. My parents say that if we go to the USA in February next year, we will take part in Ice Alaska. The event happens every year and promotes art, culture, and tourism. It was started in 1934 by Kay Huffman and Clara Murray West. They used to organise the Fairbanks Winter Carnival with parades and dog races. Four years later, it became the Ice Carnival and Dog Derby. The event grew and turned into an international ice-carving contest. In 1990, the first competition took place, and the French team was the winner. Since then, hundreds of artists from all over the world have enjoyed taking part in Ice Alaska. Visitors can watch the artists at work and see all the finished sculptures in a fantastic light display. Children can have fun, too, in the Kids’ Park, which offers a wide range of activities, including rides, slides, mazes, and trains. Today, being a sculptor, a volunteer, or a visitor in Ice Alaska is a fantastic family-oriented outdoor experience. I hope my parents and I will be able to go there next year.
