Most children at the age of six or so are full of the schemes of becoming policemen, firemen or engine drivers when they grow up. When I was that age, 1 was going to have my own zoo. This did not seem to me а very unreasonaЫe ambition. As the years passed, my decision to have my own zoo grew greater and greater. After going оп а number of expeditions to some countries to bring back animals for other zoos I feltit was the time to have my own.



But I did not want а simple zoo; my idea behind my zoo was to aid in the preservation of animal life. 1 wanted this to bе the main function of my zoo. Like all altruistic ideas, it was going to cost money. The zoo needed every form of puЫicity. Television was оnе of the best mediums, so I tried to popularize my zoo bу this means whenever possiЫe.
