НЕЗНАКОМКА
Двое сидели рядом на скамье электрички - мужчина и женщина. Поезд тронулся, женщина вытащила из сумки книгу и начала читать. Несколько раз поезд останавливался на станциях, но женщина даже головы не подняла от книги, чтобы поглядеть в окно.
Мужчина с интересом наблюдал за ней какое-то время, и потом спросил:
Что вы читаете ?
Истории о привидениях - ответила та. - Очень интересные и страшные!
Вы верите в привидения? -спросил мужчина.
Конечно! Привидения - повсюду!
А я не верю в них! - объявил мужчина. - Это всего лишь предрассудки. За всю мою жизнь я ни разу не встретил не одного привидения!
Неужели? - удивилась женщина, и исчезла....
Two people were sitting side by side on the bench of a suburban train. The train moved off, the woman took off a book out of her bag and began reading. A few times the train stopped but the lady even didn't raise her head to have a look through the window.
The man had been watching her with great interest for some time and then asked:
- What are you reading?
- Ghost stories, - replied she. - Very exciting and horrifying!
- Do you believe in ghosts? - asked the man.
- Certainly! Ghosts are everywhere!
- As for me, I don't, - declared the man. - They are just a kind of superstition. I've never met a single one for all my life!
- Haven't you? - the lady inquired showing great amazement and vanished...
A Stranger
The two, a man and a woman, were sitting in a commuter train. At the time the train started moving, the woman took out a book and begun reading. The train was making its stops on the stations many times, but the woman didn't even try to distract of the book to look thruogh the window.
The man was looking at her for some time with great interest and then asked:" What are you reading?"
- Ghost stories, very interesting and terrifing, - she replied
- Do you really believe in ghosts?- the man asked.
- Of course! They are everywhere....
- But I don't! - the man exclaimed, - It's just suspicion! I haven't ever come across even a single ghost!
- Really? - wondered the woman and disappeared ...
