My Favorite Holiday Christmas, which comes on December 25 is favorite by many because its part of different religions, there are Christmas carols, and because it brings families together. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I know you’re probably thinking I only like Christmas because I get presents but that’s not it at all. I love to turn up my favorite Christmas song, “Silent Night”, turn off the lights, turn on the Christmas tree, and sit there and enjoy the moment. Christmas is celebrated by Christians world wide. Why Christmas is special to you depends on the customs and traditions that were handed down in your family. While Christmas is viewed as just advertising to get money, those who keep their traditions alive have Joy that is with the birth of Christ each year . Every Christmas morning my family eats a big breakfast before we open presents. Christmas is a magical time for me and I love it! I think all people like holidays, because they don't work and have a good time. They can visit their friends and relatives, invite guests and have a lot of fun.
There are many holidays in our country. They are New Year’s Day, Christmas, Women’s Day, Victory Day, and others.
But my favourite holiday is New Year. It is full of magic, presents and hopes.
Every year we have a New Year tree and decorate it with toys, tinsel and coloured lights. We send and get many greeting cards. We buy and give presents to our dearest. I like to get presents. Last year my parents gave me a wonderful game and many tasty things as a present.
We usually have a holiday supper with many tasty things. When the clock strikes twelve, we wish «Happy New Year» to each other. Then we dance, sing songs, watch holiday TV or go for a walk and play games. At school we usually have a very interesting New Year’s party.
I think it is the best holiday and I enjoy it very much.
I like all holidays. But everyone of them can be made upset, except one. It’s
the New Year. New Year is a holiday for everyone. The people all over the world
welcome the new year at one moment, that’s why I think it’s the most uniting
holiday in the world, because in this moment every person can say that he loves

years I’ll spend it on my own. I must spend as much time as possible with my
family because in some years I’ll have to leave them to begin my own life and
these holidays may be the last.
